Job Responsibility: The Product Cost Manager will be responsible for managing the product costs of our clients' businesses by analyzing data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing effective cost management strategies. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their product cost structures and identify areas for optimization.
- Analyze large datasets to identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop effective cost management strategies that align with the overall business objectives.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify potential risks or opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to clients through reports or presentations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as finance, operations, and procurement to implement cost reduction initiatives.
- Track progress towards cost reduction goals by regularly monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide guidance on pricing strategies for new products based on market analysis.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in product cost management within a consulting or corporate setting
