Job Description:
Metrics Mint, a leading business consulting service, is currently seeking a Sr BOM Analyst to join our team. As a specialized firm in the supply chain and procurement domains, we are dedicated to helping businesses optimize their operations and achieve efficiency.
Job Responsibility: The Sr BOM Analyst will be responsible for evaluating and analyzing Bill of Materials (BOM) data for our clients. This includes reviewing product structures, identifying cost-saving opportunities, ensuring accuracy of information, and providing insights for decision making. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex data effectively.
- Analyze current BOM structures and processes for clients
- Identify inefficiencies or discrepancies within the BOM process
- Work closely with clients to gather data on materials, costs, suppliers, etc.
- Develop reports based on data analysis to provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and improvements to the BOM process
- Monitor and track progress of implemented changes
- Proactively identify potential risks or issues related to BOM management
- Stay updated on industry trends related to supply chain management
- Train and mentor junior analysts on best practices for BOM analysis
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a BOM Analyst or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and procurement principles
- Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel or SAP
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear manner
- Detail-oriented
